The partnership will feature across Hodson’s Super2 Series and Aussie Racing Cars programs, having commenced at the recent Darwin Triple Crown.
Using the visibility of motorsport, the goal of the partnership is to encourage more open conversations around mental health and suicide prevention.
“Motorsport gives us a platform to reach a lot of people, and I’m proud to use that platform to support something as important as Talk2MeBro,” Hodson said.
Talk2MeBro is an Australian not-for-profit movement that creates safe spaces for meaningful conversations through community catch-ups, tailored programs, workshops, keynote sessions, immersive experiences and team-building activities.
“We exist to end suicide in Australia, and that means taking our message wherever people gather, and motorsport brings people together like few things can,” said Talk2MeBro director Luke Conners.
“We’re proud to back Ayrton as he competes across both his Super2 and Aussie Racing Cars programs, and to use that visibility to remind people in the grandstands and beyond that it’s okay to speak up, check in, and reach out.
“This is exactly the kind of partnership that helps us do what we’re here to do.”
Talk2MeBro’s programs focus on giving people practical tools for use in everyday life, while helping to erase the stigma around mental health.
The partnership will be activated through on-car branding, race-week visibility, and shared awareness messaging throughout the season.
Aussie Racing Cars returns for Round 3 at the Townsville 500 on July 10-12, where Hodson holds the championship lead after consistent top 10 results in the opening two events.
